Malaysia places high priority on infrastructural development and has attained a status of having one of the most developed infrastructure
among the newly industrialised countries of Asia. Terengganu is well linked to Kuala Lumpur and other major towns by highways and internally well served by a network of metalled roads to
even remote areas. Terengganu is served by three airports, one of which is being upgraded to become a Regional International Airport. With abundant supply of natural gas, Teregganu is also a
major producer of electrical power. It produces over 1900mw from its gas powered and hydro power stations. There is also abundant water supply for industrial and domestic use. Industrial land is
offered at comparatively lower rates with a host of incentives to assist potential investors. |
